From its beginnings up to the present day!In 2013, on the enchanting island of Bali, two ocean lovers – a Breton and a Charentais – meet, united by their shared passion for surfing. This encounter becomes the starting point of a shared dream: to live by the rhythm of the waves and to pass on this passion to others.
From this vision was born Bali Ocean Surf, a school that places the quality of teaching at the heart of every session. Here, the mission is simple but profound: to offer much more than technical skills. At Bali Ocean Surf, each student learns to respect and understand the sea, to read its movements, and to feel its energy.
For them, surfing is a way of life – a school of patience, dedication, and humility. And after nearly 15 years of adventure, our instructors have made Bali their home. They have fallen in love with the waves, the culture, the landscapes, and their respective Indonesian wives.
Today, Bali Ocean Surf is a close-knit team of French and Indonesian instructors, working hand in hand with beach lifeguards and many local partners – beach bars, drivers, photographers, and more. But their heart beats elsewhere as well: a school was established in Sri Lanka, and another popped up in Bénodet.
